M.B.'s homemade dough + sensory bin kits

Sensory Bins aren't just fun, they're an essential part of any early childhood learning experience! Because young children learn best when they can touch and feel something, sensory play provides so many different opportunities for children to learn in a meaningful way. The downside of sensory bins? Coming up with the themes, fillers, gadgets and tools for it. This is where I come in! Let me do the hard work for you - coming up with new and engaging themes, scouting out interesting types of filler, tools, and manipulatives to play with - all packaged and ready to go home with you!

about my stuff:

**My homemade dough is made of various kitchen ingredients and is totally safe around littles of all ages. My sensory kits typically contain three parts: a filler, several manipulatives, and a few tools. My fillers are usually rice, beans, corn kernels, or some other natural product; which are dyed with either food-grade dye or acrylic paint. My "back to basics" bins are always filled with dye-free organic materials. My homemade cloud dough is mixed from all natural kitchen ingredients as well.

**As for my handmade bins, I'm SUPER proud of these bad boys, as my dad (a.k.a. Papa Extraordinaire) and I put so much work into researching what wood to use, what size was perfect, and how to make it durable yet light weight at the same time. These Tinker Trays, as we've come to call them, are made from water-resistant wood from Central America (how cool is that?!) and measure 12"x15" and are 3"deep.
